Single Lane Pale Ale - Beer Kit

Single Lane is an American Pale Ale. It is crisp, fresh and easy drinking with a clean malt profile that is layered to give the beer excellent head retention, a slight touch of colour and an exceptionally balanced flavour. There are no adjuncts to build the foundation, only lightly roasted barley. Hops compliment the clean characteristic of the malt and leave a slight grapefruit and floral taste that leaves you ready for another sip. 

The recipe contains locally sourced barley malt and hops grown in New Brunswick near Hartland, which is home to the longest covered bridge in the world. The simplicity of this beer style and the balance of the malt and hops allows the local ingredients of this region to mingle perfectly. 

Wooden bridges are often covered to protect their supporting structures from the elements, but due to the high construction cost and maintenance most are single lane. There is a nostalgic feeling that makes you slow down when crossing. A feeling we tried to replicate in this beer; making the base of the beer complex and supportive finishing with the delicate character and romance of the hops.

This is a functional beer it is well engineered and artistic - much like the Hartland bridge. Drink this beer fresh for the best experience and share with friends. The balanced profile makes it great for any occasion. It is interesting enough for any craft beer connoisseur or for someone who just enjoys a good ol’ beer. 

We intended for this beer to be easy to brew, but the recipe is complex to highlight the wonderful local flavours of our region. A great introductory all-grain beer for a new brewer, or a new favourite for a master of their system. This beer truly represents what all-grain home brewing is about and how a simple beer style can be expertly crafted with the best ingredients to make it exceptional. 

Expected ABV is 6%

This kit is appropriate for all-grain brewing with a hot liquor tank, mash tun, & boil kettle, or using the brew in a bag (BIAB) method. 

Kit contains all required base grains, speciality grains, additives, hops, & yeast to make this beer. Each box is made to order to ensure freshness of all ingredients.

Kits DO NOT include all grain brewing equipment, sanitizer, priming sugar, bottles, or bottle caps.
